One of the carb differences between years were Linkages and chokes. Please see photos and compare them to yours. Note I have 2 of these listed, the difference being Linkages. I cannot find a list number on it.

This part comes from my late grandfathers small rebuilds business that had been around since the 1930's. 1951 Mercury Lincoln Holley 885-FFC Carburetor - Older Rebuild. Missing automatic choke. Guess that is due to different transmission types.
