This is a vintage Quadrajet carburetor for 1970 Pontiac GTO, Grand Prix, or Firebird with 400 CU IN 4-barrel engine. The OE/OEM part number is 7040564 with a build date of Oct 21 1969 and for all Pontiac that was sold in Calif. This is a used item but was rebuilt at one time and still has the tag on side. The fuel inlet has also been re sleeved.

It has a mechanical choke and is performance part.
