Carburetor was assembled with a quality carburetor kit, steel parts were commercially replanted. Bocar was a Sole licensee to build carburetors in Mexico that were installed new on Mexican Beetles and sold as spares the USA. These carburetors are also a great replacement for later smog like 30PICT-2 and 30PICT-3. Comes with mounting gasket, nuts and washers as seen in the pictures.

I can also be used on dual port 1600 engines starting with the 1971 Beetle, Ghia, Bus, Thing if you use a Bro sol 30-34mm manifold adapter. The 30PICT-1 carburetor runs very well and is easy to adjust get a good idle acceleration over wide temperature range. The carburetor shown in the pictures is actual part offered this listing.

This one was sold as a spare because the VW logo machined off to sell it aftermarket.
